SMS messaging terms

Last updated September 9, 2026

This page describes the text messaging programs operated through the AllHours AI receptionist, how consent is collected, and how to stop messages. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Who sends the messages

AllHours is operated by GoopWorks LLC. Messages are sent through the platform on behalf of the business you called, and they are sent from or on behalf of that business. The business name appears in the message.

The two messaging programs

1. Appointment messages to callers. When you call a business that uses AllHours and book an appointment, we can send you a text confirming the appointment — the date, the arrival window, and the name of the person assigned — and a reminder before that person arrives. These are transactional messages about an appointment you asked for. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages to callers.

2. Operational alerts to business staff. Businesses using AllHours receive texts about their own calls: a new booking, an urgent call, or a failed transfer to an on-call phone. These go to phone numbers the business configures for its own staff.

Message frequency

Callers: up to 2 messages per appointment — one confirmation and one reminder. You will not receive recurring messages after your appointment is complete unless you book again.

Business staff: message frequency varies with the volume of calls the business receives and the alert rules it configures.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile service plan. AllHours does not charge callers for these messages; your carrier may.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or email us at help@allhours.app.

How to stop messages

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number for that program. You can also ask the receptionist not to text you when you are on the call, or contact help@allhours.app. Opting out of texts does not cancel your appointment.

How consent is collected

Consent is collected verbally, on the call, before any message is sent. The receptionist states what the messages are, how many to expect, that rates may apply, how to get help, how to stop, and where these terms live — then asks for an explicit yes or no. A caller who says no is not messaged, and the appointment is booked either way. The exchange is recorded and transcribed with the rest of the call, so the consent is evidenced against the specific number.

The script the receptionist follows:

Verbal consent script

Receptionist: “Before I let you go — I can text you the confirmation for this appointment from [business name]. That is up to two messages: one confirming your time, and one reminder before we arrive. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. You can reply HELP for help, or reply STOP at any time to stop the messages. Our messaging terms are at allhours.app/sms and our privacy policy is at allhours.app/privacy. Would you like me to text you that confirmation — yes or no?”

Caller: “Yes.”

Receptionist: “Great — I’ll send that confirmation to the number you’re calling from now. Reply STOP any time to stop.”

If the caller says no, the receptionist confirms that no texts will be sent and continues with the booking.

We do not share mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Mobile opt-in data is never sold.

Carrier disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and network conditions, and messages should not be relied on as the only record of an appointment.

Not for emergencies

Text messaging is not an emergency service. For a life-threatening situation, a gas leak, or a fire, hang up and call 911 or your utility’s emergency line. See section 2 of our Terms.

Businesses using AllHours

If you operate a business on AllHours, you remain responsible for having a lawful basis to message the people you or your callers add, for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and equivalent state rules, and for honouring opt-outs. Do not disable or reword the consent step in the script above. See section 4 of our Terms.
